Two machines I was configuring in late 1999 for my home
office (which we jokingly call "The Bridge" :-)
I keep these specs here mostly for the curiosity value.
It's interesting to see what two top-of-the-line workstation go
for "now," with "now" being whenever I get the hankering to
check.

This was a test of two kinds of "remote control" navigation for
a project I was working on. The graphics were blatantly swiped
from the Starship
Trooper movie web site.
Normally, I'm not much for movie web
sites, but I think these folks did a really nice job, and that's
high praise from me. :-)

Random stuff I've collected from various sites for various reasons.
My plan was to make this a bit more "database" oriented,
which has come to naught. :-)
My attention to this project is desultory at best.
